A short video uploaded by several tourists from Gujarat shows them exploring the hills and villages of Nagaland and describing the state as a "heaven on earth". The clip, filmed during a recent trip, highlights the region’s natural beauty, traditional architecture and warm hospitality.
The footage quickly spread across platforms such as YouTube, Instagram and Facebook, where users praised the tourists’ candid appreciation. Commentators highlighted the contrast between the serene landscapes and the often‑overlooked tourism potential of the northeastern state.
Travel analysts note that the viral response could boost interest among domestic travellers, especially from western India, who are seeking off‑beat destinations. State tourism officials have welcomed the attention, emphasizing ongoing efforts to promote Nagaland’s cultural festivals and eco‑tourism initiatives.
