The Gujarat Meteorological Department has issued a forecast for the Navratri celebrations, predicting the likelihood of rainfall during the festival period.
The Gujarat Meteorological Department released a weather forecast for the Navratri 2026 celebrations in a video posted on Facebook by BBC News Gujarati. The video features Deepak Chudasama and Avadh Jani discussing the expected weather conditions.
According to the forecast, the probability of rainfall is moderate in the western and central districts of Gujarat during the nine days of Navratri. The department highlighted that the chances are lower in the eastern parts of the state.
