A cancer survivor from Gujarat walked out of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 18 when presented with a Rs 12.5 lakh ISRO question, having previously secured a Rs 7.5 lakh win.

On a recent episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati season 18, a contestant from Gujarat who had survived cancer faced a pivotal moment when the show presented a Rs 12.5 lakh question about the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO). After considering the options, the participant chose to walk away from the hot seat, thereby ending his attempt at the higher prize.

The decision came after the contestant had already secured a cash prize of Rs 7.5 lakh earlier in the game. That earlier win was celebrated by the audience and host Amitabh Bachchan, highlighting the contestant’s determination despite his health challenges.

While the exact reason for quitting was not disclosed, the contestant’s background as a cancer survivor added an emotional layer to the episode, drawing attention to his resilience and the inspirational nature of his journey on national television.

The show’s producers confirmed that the contestant left with the Rs 7.5 lakh he had already earned, and the episode concluded with a brief acknowledgment of his fight against cancer and his participation in the popular quiz program.
