Gujarat, AAU to Launch Biofertilizer and Biopesticide Units Under New MoU

Gujarat has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Agricultural and Agri‑Food University (AAU) to set up biofertilizer and biopesticide production units. The agreement aims to promote sustainable farming practices by providing locally produced organic inputs. Farmers in the state are expected to benefit from reduced costs and improved crop protection. The units will be established in key agricultural zones, with plans to begin operations early next year.
