The new Governor Secretariat building in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh, was inaugurated today after a ₹10.90‑crore investment.
Arunachal Pradesh’s state government inaugurated the new Governor Secretariat building in Itanagar today. The ₹10.90‑crore complex will serve as the official office for the Governor and his staff.
The ceremony was attended by the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, the Chief Minister, and other senior officials. Their presence marked the completion of the project, which was part of the state’s infrastructure development plan.
The new complex features modern facilities, including a reception hall, administrative offices, and advanced security infrastructure. It is situated on the outskirts of the capital city.
The project was executed by a private construction firm under the supervision of the Public Works Department. The cost covers construction, furnishings, and technology upgrades.
