Golden Temple Illuminated During First Guru Granth Sahib Light Festival in Amritsar

The Golden Temple in Amritsar was illuminated for the first Light Festival of Guru Granth Sahib, drawing devotees and visitors from across the country. The ceremony began with a traditional procession that carried the holy scripture to the central shrine, where a series of lamps were lit in a solemn ritual.

As the lamps glowed, the entire complex was bathed in a warm, golden glow, symbolising spiritual enlightenment. The lighting was followed by a choreographed fireworks display that lit up the night sky over the temple’s courtyard, creating a breathtaking visual spectacle.
