The Goa government has set a target to install 750 water harvesting structures by June 2027, according to a statement by Shirodkar.
Shirodkar announced that Goa will have 750 water harvesting structures by June 2027. The initiative aims to improve water availability across the state and reduce dependence on external water sources. The structures will be built in both rural and urban areas to capture rainwater and recharge groundwater. The government plans to monitor progress through regular reports and ensure compliance with environmental standards.
