Glenn Phillips lauds Indian batting despite four-wicket loss

New Zealand cricketer Glenn Phillips said the Indian batting line‑up displayed considerable skill and resilience even though India fell short by four wickets in their recent match. Phillips, speaking after the game, highlighted the depth of India's top order and the ability of its middle order to rebuild innings under pressure. He noted that such performances make the contest competitive and raise the standard of international cricket. The comments came as the Indian side reflected on a loss that left them short of the target despite a solid batting effort. Phillips’ remarks were covered by Telangana Today, underscoring the respect Indian cricket commands abroad.
