A gas cylinder in Bengaluru exploded after a leak ignited an oil lamp, leaving a delivery worker injured.

The incident took place in Bengaluru, Karnataka, when a gas cylinder that was leaking released vapour which came into contact with an oil lamp flame. The resulting ignition caused the cylinder to explode, sending a shockwave through the immediate area.
The blast injured a delivery worker who was nearby. He was rushed to a local hospital for treatment; officials said his injuries were not life‑threatening.
