Four laborers were killed when a toxic gas released from a toilet tank’s centering in Savanhī village, Gopalganj, Bihar, and a local youth attempting rescue was seriously injured.
A tragic accident unfolded in Savanhī Patti village of Gopalganj district, Bihar, when a group of laborers were opening the centering of a toilet tank. While dismantling the tank, a sudden release of poisonous gas engulfed the workers, leading to immediate fatalities for four of them.
A young resident of the village rushed to the scene in an effort to pull the victims to safety. In the process, he inhaled the same toxic fumes and sustained severe injuries, leaving him in critical condition at the local health centre.
