Delhi police have detained four individuals accused of manufacturing and circulating fake currency.
Delhi Police arrested four men suspected of running a counterfeit currency operation after a probe uncovered a makeshift printing setup. The suspects were taken into custody as part of a coordinated raid aimed at dismantling the illegal printing network.
Authorities said the arrested individuals had produced and circulated fake banknotes of several denominations, intending to introduce them into the local market. During the operation, police seized printing equipment, blank paper, and a stockpile of forged notes.
The four men will appear before a magistrate shortly, and the case has been handed over to the Economic Offences Wing for further investigation. Police have urged the public to stay alert and report any suspicious currency.
