In a tragic incident in Mandla, Madhya Pradesh, four newborn infants have died allegedly due to a delay in the arrival of an ambulance. The pregnant woman reportedly had to travel by private auto to the hospital.

A serious lapse in healthcare services has been reported in Negwan village, Bichhiya development block, Mandla district of Madhya Pradesh. Allegations suggest that the 108 ambulance failed to arrive on time when a woman experienced labor pains.

Consequently, the pregnant woman was transported to the hospital using a private auto-rickshaw. The critical delay in emergency medical services is suspected to have led to the tragic demise of four newborn infants.

The incident has raised significant concerns regarding the accessibility and responsiveness of emergency medical transport in the region, prompting questions about the efficiency of the local health system.
