Four killed, three injured as 18-wheeler collides with Toto on NH-722 near Chapra

A high‑speed 18‑wheel truck rammed a Toto vehicle on NH‑722 near Beldhi toll plaza, killing four people and injuring three.
An accident involving an uncontrolled 18‑wheel heavy vehicle and a small passenger car, locally known as a Toto, occurred on National Highway 722 near the Beldhi police‑station toll plaza in Bihar. The truck, travelling at high speed, struck the Toto head‑on, causing a severe collision.
Emergency services were dispatched to the scene, where they found four occupants of the Toto dead at the spot. Three other passengers were rescued with serious injuries and were rushed to the nearest hospital for treatment.
Police officials have opened an investigation to determine the cause of the high‑speed breach and to identify any violations of traffic regulations. The highway section has been temporarily closed for clearance and to facilitate the investigation.
