Four men broke into a Bhitarwar residence three months ago, pointed a rifle at the victim’s mother and are accused of assaulting the 21‑year‑old daughter; three suspects have been arrested.
A reported incident from the Bhitarwar police jurisdiction in Gwalior district says that four individuals forced their way into a private home around midnight about three months ago. The intruders allegedly brandished a rifle and threatened the victim’s mother, creating a climate of fear for the family.
According to the 21‑year‑old daughter, the same night the men not only threatened her mother but also subjected her to physical abuse. She has lodged a formal complaint alleging assault and intimidation with a firearm.
Local police launched an investigation following the complaint. Within days, three of the four accused were apprehended and taken into custody. The fourth suspect remains at large, and authorities have said the probe is ongoing to determine the full extent of the crime.
