Four injured as family attacked with stones in Shivpuri over Ludo dispute

A family in Shivpuri's Kamalganj Ghoshipura area was assaulted with stones and sticks after being warned against playing Ludo outside, smoking and alleged abusive language, leaving four people injured.
Shivpuri district officials reported that a family residing in the Kamalganj Ghoshipura locality was confronted by a group of youths after the residents were asked to stop playing Ludo outside their home, smoking cigarettes and allegedly using abusive language. The youths allegedly warned the family, and the confrontation escalated the following day.
According to local sources, the dispute turned violent when the youths returned with stones and wooden sticks, striking members of the family. Four individuals sustained injuries of varying severity and were taken to a nearby health centre for treatment.
Police have registered a case of assault and are investigating the incident. The authorities have urged residents to resolve neighbourhood disagreements peacefully and to avoid taking the law into their own hands.
