Four effigies including Ravana, Meghnath, Kumbhakarna and a cockroach burned in Delhi

In Delhi, a ritual ceremony concluded with the burning of four distinct effigies. The traditional figures of Ravana, Meghnath and Kumbhakarna were set alight alongside an unusual representation of a cockroach. Organisers said the inclusion of the cockroach symbolised the eradication of societal evils beyond mythological narratives. The event attracted local residents who gathered to witness the symbolic act, which is part of broader cultural observances. Authorities reported the ceremony proceeded without any disturbances or safety concerns.
