Former CM EPS likens Tamil Nadu murders to Vijay movie scenes

Former Tamil Nadu chief minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami remarked that the wave of murders and violent incidents across the state is reminiscent of the dramatic sequences seen in Vijay's movies. His observation was reported by The Times of India amid growing public anxiety over the rise in criminal activity. Palaniswami's comment underscores the perception that the severity of recent crimes appears almost cinematic, prompting calls for stronger law‑and‑order measures. No official response from police or other political leaders was recorded at the time of reporting.
