Tej Pratap Yadav, former minister and RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav’s son, has appealed to the central and Bihar governments for immediate protection, saying he feels his life is in danger after a letter sent five days ago.
Tej Pratap Yadav, a former minister in the Bihar government and the elder son of Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad Yadav, has formally requested urgent security cover from both the central and state authorities. He conveyed that he is living under a constant threat to his life and therefore needs immediate protection.
The demand follows a written appeal he dispatched to the governments five days earlier, in which he highlighted specific concerns about his personal safety. In that letter, he asserted that recent developments have heightened his fear for his own life, prompting the current call for rapid action.
As of now, neither the Union Home Ministry nor the Bihar state administration has issued a public response. Observers note that Yadav has previously raised security concerns, but this latest plea underscores a heightened sense of vulnerability, urging officials to act without delay.
