Food Department launches ‘Anna Seve’ app to simplify e‑Kavach ration card access
The Karnataka Food Department has introduced the Anna Seve mobile application, making the e‑Kavach ration card system more accessible for beneficiaries.
The Food Department of Karnataka has launched a new mobile application called “Anna Seve” to streamline access to the e‑Kavach ration card system.
The app enables users to register, view and manage their ration‑card details, check entitlement and request services directly from their smartphones, reducing the need for physical visits to ration offices.
Officials said the platform is part of a broader effort to digitise the public distribution system and improve convenience for beneficiaries across the state.
The application is available for download on both Android and iOS platforms, and a helpline has been set up to assist users with any queries.
Authorities have urged eligible families to adopt the app to benefit from faster service and greater transparency in the allocation of food grains.
