Fire Devastates Manumit Cotton Mill in Balochara, Millions of Garments Turn to Ash

A short‑circuit ignited a severe blaze at the Manumit Cotton Mill located in the third phase of Balochara, Rajasthan. The fire rapidly engulfed the stored fabrics, turning millions of garments into ash. Firefighters from the Central Equipment and Training Programme (CETP) brigade arrived on the scene and worked for almost two hours to extinguish the flames. The incident caused extensive material losses, but no casualties were reported. Authorities are investigating the cause of the short‑circuit and will assess safety protocols at the mill.
