A fire erupted at the Dudu solar power plant in Rajasthan, prompting fire engines from Jaipur and Ajmer to respond.
A blaze broke out at the Dudu solar power plant located in Rajasthan's Jaipur district. The incident was reported early on, and fire crews were immediately mobilised.
Fire engines from the nearby cities of Jaipur and Ajmer arrived at the site to contain the flames. Responders worked to extinguish the fire and prevent it from spreading to the surrounding photovoltaic arrays.
Preliminary reports indicate no injuries, and the plant's operational staff are cooperating with local authorities. An investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fire and assess any damage to the solar infrastructure.
The outage is expected to affect power generation from the plant temporarily, but officials said supply to the grid will be restored once the site is deemed safe.
