Filmmaker Srinidhi Bengaluru is incorporating Hollywood-style horror tactics into his video productions, aiming to raise the genre’s standards in India.
Srinidhi Bengaluru, a Bengaluru‑based filmmaker known for his experimental storytelling, announced that he is bringing Hollywood horror strategies to his video projects. The move, reported by The New Indian Express, signals a deliberate shift towards more sophisticated genre filmmaking in the Indian digital space.
He says the approach will borrow key elements from Hollywood horror – meticulous pacing, immersive sound design, and high‑impact visual effects – to create a more gripping viewer experience. By adapting these techniques to local narratives, Bengaluru aims to bridge the gap between global production values and Indian content sensibilities.
Industry observers note that such a crossover could elevate the quality of horror content on Indian streaming platforms, offering audiences fresh, technically polished experiences while encouraging other creators to experiment with similar standards.
