The upcoming horror film '418' will host special midnight showings ahead of its official theatrical debut, according to its distributor.
The horror thriller titled '418' is set to launch a series of midnight screenings in select cinemas before its full theatrical release. The screenings are scheduled to begin late Friday night and will run for a limited period, targeting genre enthusiasts who prefer the eerie atmosphere of a late‑hour viewing.
Organisers say the midnight slots are intended to generate buzz and give audiences an early taste of the film’s scares. Tickets for the special showings will be sold separately from the regular release schedule, with limited seating to maintain an intimate experience.
The move follows a growing trend among Indian distributors to use unconventional showtimes as a marketing tool for genre films. '418' is expected to hit mainstream screens nationwide after the midnight run concludes, with a broader release slated for next week.
