Bhopal police are probing a fraud case where alleged fake IAS aspirant Triptī Singh is said to have taken ₹3 lakh from each of two women by promising government jobs and an IAS posting.
Police in Bhopal have opened an investigation into a fraud that allegedly involved a self‑styled IAS aspirant named Triptī Singh. The suspect is said to have approached two young women, offering them guaranteed government positions and an IAS appointment in exchange for a monetary advance.
According to the complaint filed in the state assembly, each woman handed over three lakh rupees, believing the promise of a secure job and the prestige of an IAS posting. The victims allege that Singh collected the funds but failed to deliver any official recruitment or appointment.
Authorities have registered a case of cheating and are currently gathering evidence, including statements from the two complainants and any financial records that may trace the flow of the money. No arrests have been reported so far, and the investigation remains ongoing.
