A former Branch Manager of SDCC Bank's Paikmal branch has been convicted in a bribery case and sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment by a Special Vigilance Court in Baragada, Odisha.

Sri Raghumani Sahu, who previously served as the Branch Manager at the Paikmal branch of the Sambalpur District Central Cooperative (SDCC) Bank, has been found guilty in a corruption case. The conviction was secured by the Odisha Vigilance department.

The Special Judge for Vigilance in Baragada delivered the verdict today. Sahu, who is now retired, has been sentenced to three years of rigorous imprisonment. Additionally, a fine has been imposed on the former bank official, though details of the fine amount were not specified in the initial report.
