Endoscopic camera used to leak BSc exam paper at Chhattisgarh agriculture university

Police investigators have uncovered that a small endoscopic camera was smuggled into the examination hall of the BSc program at Chhattisgarh's agriculture university. The device, reportedly concealed in a pen or similar object, captured images of the question paper, which were later shared with a group of students.

According to the police, the leak was discovered after several candidates reported unusually similar answer patterns. A raid on the residence of a suspected facilitator yielded the camera and a laptop containing scanned copies of the paper.

The university has suspended the affected examination and announced a fresh test date. Authorities have filed a case under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the Indian Penal Code, citing cheating and conspiracy charges.

Education officials warned that such incidents undermine the integrity of the state's academic system and urged stricter monitoring during exams.
