Engineering firm EMS emerged as the lowest bidder for a Rs 1,908‑crore water supply scheme in Rajasthan, boosting its market profile.
EMS announced that it has been selected as the lowest bidder (L‑1) for the Rajasthan government’s water supply project valued at Rs 1,908 crore. The scheme is designed to improve drinking‑water availability across multiple districts in the state, involving the construction of pipelines, treatment plants and related infrastructure. Securing the L‑1 position is expected to strengthen EMS’s order book and has already been reflected in a rise in its market valuation. The Rajasthan Water Resources Department will now move to finalise the contract and initiate the detailed execution phase, with work slated to commence later this year.
