Eminem Defends New Collaboration with Kid Rock, Says It's Not About Choosing Sides

Rolling Stone India reports that Eminem has publicly defended his recent collaboration with fellow artist Kid Rock. The Detroit-born rapper emphasized that the joint effort is rooted in music rather than any political alignment.
Eminem addressed media queries, stating that working with Kid Rock reflects a long‑standing personal connection, not a stance on the latter’s controversial public views. He stressed that artists should be judged on their creative output, not on perceived affiliations.
The new track, described as a blend of hip‑hop and rock elements, marks the first official studio partnership between the two musicians. Both artists have hinted at the release in recent social‑media posts, but details about the song’s title and launch date remain limited.
Industry observers note that the collaboration could attract attention from fans across both genres, while also sparking debate given Kid Rock’s polarising reputation in the United States.
