Two assailants threatened an elderly man sleeping on a bench in Bhopal's Khajuri Road area with a knife, seized his cash and mobile, and fled, with the incident captured on CCTV.
Police officials reported that an elderly individual was found sleeping on a public bench in the Khajuri Road locality of Bhopal when two unidentified men approached him. The assailants brandished a knife, assaulted the victim, and forcibly took his mobile phone and cash before escaping the scene.
Surveillance cameras installed in the area recorded the entire episode, showing the perpetrators confronting the senior citizen, the ensuing struggle, and their hurried departure. The footage has been handed over to investigators as primary evidence.
