The Enforcement Directorate attached assets worth ₹31.70 crore and filed a supplementary charge sheet in the ongoing investigation of a DMFT funds scam in Chhattisgarh.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has attached assets amounting to ₹31.70 crore in connection with a scam involving Development and Maintenance Fund (DMFT) in the state of Chhattisgarh. The move comes as part of the ongoing investigation into the diversion of public funds.

In addition to the asset attachment, the ED filed a supplementary charge sheet that expands the scope of the case. The new document alleges further wrongdoing by the accused, including additional financial irregularities linked to the DMFT.

The DMFT scam has attracted attention from state authorities, who have been probing the misuse of funds earmarked for development projects. The ED’s action is expected to strengthen the legal case against the individuals involved.

Law enforcement officials have stated that the attached assets include cash, properties, and other movable items believed to be linked to the alleged fraud. The supplementary charge sheet is intended to provide a comprehensive record of the alleged offenses.

The case remains under active investigation, with the ED continuing to gather evidence and pursue legal remedies against the accused parties.
