An early intervention centre run by CBM India Trust in South Delhi's Khanpur has enabled 14 disabled children to secure admission in government and private schools. The initiative aims to provide equal educational opportunities for children with disabilities.
The Early Intervention Centre was established by CBM India Trust in the Khanpur area of South Delhi to support children with disabilities from an early age. It provides screening, therapeutic services and preparatory education to help children develop skills needed for school life.
Through individualised plans and regular monitoring, the centre prepares children for transition into mainstream educational settings. Staff work closely with families and local schools to ensure a smooth integration process.
As a result of these efforts, 14 disabled children have successfully secured admission in both government and private schools across Delhi. They are now attending regular classrooms alongside their peers.
CBM India Trust states that the programme reflects its commitment to inclusive education and aims to give every child with a disability an equal opportunity to learn and grow.
