Early Dawn Aarti at Mahakaleshwar Temple, Ujjain Marks Dwadashi with Sacred Ash Offering

The Mahakaleshwar Temple in Ujjain opened its sanctum at 4 a.m. on the Dwadashi of the Krishna Paksha, conducting a traditional bhusm aarti. The early‑morning ceremony drew a gathering of devotees who arrived to witness the ritual.\n\nPriests performed a Panchamrit abhishek, bathing the deity Baba Mahakal with a mixture of milk, curd, honey, ghee and sugar.
