Dudhsagar Falls in Goa has been reopened for visitors, with authorities instructing vehicle operators to station staff for tourist safety.
The scenic Dudhsagar waterfall in South Goa has been cleared for public visits after a period of restricted access. Government officials announced that the site is now open to domestic and international tourists seeking the famed cascade and surrounding forest trails.
In conjunction with the reopening, the transport department issued a directive to all vehicle operators offering rides to the falls. Operators are required to have dedicated safety personnel on board to guide visitors, manage crowd flow, and respond to emergencies.
Authorities expect the safety measures to enhance the visitor experience while mitigating risks associated with the steep terrain and heavy monsoon runoff. The move is also aimed at boosting local tourism revenue in the region.
