A shift to dry winds is expected to bring relief from recent rainfall across Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Haryana, according to weather reports.

Dry winds are moving across the northern plains, bringing a much‑needed break from the heavy rains that have affected Delhi-NCR, Punjab and Haryana over the past few days.

Meteorological agencies report that the incoming dry air mass will reduce surface moisture and lower the chances of further flooding in the region.

The weather forecast predicts that the dry conditions will persist for the next 48 to 72 hours, with temperatures expected to rise slightly as the winds settle.

Residents are advised to remain cautious, especially in low‑lying areas, but overall the outlook for the region is improving as the rain subsides.
