Driver flees with ₹27 lakh and Creta car in Indore's Rau area

A driver in Indore's Rau locality absconded with a bag of cash worth ₹27 lakh and a Creta, prompting police to recover the vehicle and launch a manhunt.
Indore police reported that a driver employed by a local businessman fled from the Rau area carrying a bag reportedly containing ₹27 lakh. The driver also took away a Hyundai Creta that the businessman had been using for a crane‑sale transaction.
The authorities located the Creta in Aajad Nagar later the same day and seized the vehicle. Officials confirmed that the cash bag was missing and that the driver vanished before the car could be recovered.
Investigators have opened a case of theft and are actively searching for the suspect. Police have appealed to the public for any information that could lead to the driver's arrest and the recovery of the stolen money.
