Dr. Rajeev Bindal Blames Congress Rule for Debt and Administrative Paralysis in Himachal Pradesh

Dr. Rajeev Bindal, a senior BJP leader and former health minister of Himachal Pradesh, launched a pointed criticism of the state’s current administration, saying that four years of Congress rule have left Himachal financially strained. He asserted that the Sukhu government has accumulated substantial debt and fostered an environment of corruption and "mafia raj," which he claims has crippled the administrative machinery.

According to Bindal, the paralysis in governance is affecting the delivery of essential services, while ordinary citizens bear the brunt through rising tax demands. He further alleged that public money is being diverted to political appointments rather than development projects, exacerbating the fiscal pressure on the populace.

The comments were made during a press briefing, underscoring the opposition’s intent to hold the Congress government accountable ahead of upcoming electoral contests.
