The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) issued an order extending the tenure of BSNL senior official Robert J. Ravi until 15 January 2027, adding three months to his service period.
Ravi’s leadership has been credited with speeding up the expansion of 4G and 5G networks across the country, a key factor in BSNL’s recent financial recovery.
The extension aims to ensure continuity in the ongoing telecom infrastructure projects and aligns with the government’s broader goal of strengthening India’s digital connectivity.
