The Hindi film Dhurandhar 2, a recent box office hit, is now being considered for the prestigious Grammy Awards, marking a significant milestone for Indian cinema on the global music stage.
Dhurandhar 2, which opened to record-breaking collections in India, has now taken a bold step beyond the domestic market. Production house XYZ announced that the film’s original score and soundtrack are being submitted for consideration at the upcoming Grammy Awards. The move is seen as a strategic effort to showcase Indian film music on an international platform.
Industry insiders say that the film’s composer, who has previously worked on several hit projects, has crafted a blend of traditional and contemporary sounds that could appeal to the Grammy jury. The submission follows a growing trend of Indian films seeking recognition in global award circuits.
If nominated, Dhurandhar 2 would become one of the few Indian movies to be acknowledged by the Recording Academy, potentially opening doors for more cross‑cultural collaborations in the future.
