Dhole Vanishes from Uttarakhand Forests, Experts Raise Alarm

The dhole, also known as the Asiatic wild dog, is facing a serious threat in Uttarakhand. Experts have expressed grave concern over the potential disappearance of this species from the state's forests. The dhole plays a crucial role in maintaining the ecological balance of the region, and its absence could have cascading effects on the ecosystem. The exact reasons behind the dhole's decline in Uttarakhand remain unclear, but habitat loss, human-wildlife conflict, and disease are believed to be contributing factors.
