Former Maharashtra chief minister Devendra Fadnavis unveiled the Invest Maharashtra platform, a digital hub aimed at streamlining investor engagement while the state pursues a $1 trillion GDP target.

Devendra Fadnavis, the former chief minister of Maharashtra, introduced the Invest Maharashtra platform in a ceremony in Mumbai, presenting it as a dedicated digital gateway for investors. The initiative is designed to consolidate information on investment opportunities, provide a single‑window clearance system and offer real‑time support to both domestic and foreign businesses.

The platform will feature sector‑wise dashboards, policy briefs and tools for tracking project approvals, aiming to reduce procedural delays that have traditionally hampered large‑scale investments. State officials said the portal will also host virtual roadshows and matchmaking events to connect entrepreneurs with potential financiers.

Unveiling the platform, Fadnavis highlighted Maharashtra's ambition to cross the $1 trillion mark in gross state domestic product, a target set under the state’s long‑term growth roadmap. By simplifying entry points for capital, the government expects to boost job creation, enhance export capacity and reinforce the state’s position as India’s industrial hub.

The launch comes as the Maharashtra government intensifies its outreach to global investors, signalling confidence in the state's infrastructure, skilled workforce and policy reforms. Continuous monitoring mechanisms will be embedded in the platform to assess investment inflows and ensure accountability.
