Local police were alerted to the scene and arrived shortly after the attack was reported. They have secured the area, taken statements from witnesses, and launched an investigation to identify the perpetrators and motive behind the assault.
The bus, which was en route to the capital of Jammu and Kashmir, was temporarily taken off the road for safety checks. Authorities have advised passengers to remain vigilant and have assured that the route will be restored to normal operations as soon as investigations are concluded.
