Despite an orange alert issued for heavy rainfall, the national capital, Delhi, has not received significant showers, leading to concerns about the monsoon's performance.
Delhi is experiencing a dry spell, with the much-anticipated monsoon rains failing to materialize despite the issuance of an orange alert. The alert had signaled the possibility of heavy downpours across the region.
However, the skies have remained largely clear, and the expected rainfall has not occurred. This lack of precipitation is raising concerns among residents and authorities about the ongoing monsoon season's efficacy.
The situation highlights a disconnect between weather advisories and actual rainfall, leaving the city grappling with dry conditions.
