The Delhi government has issued GRAP 2 restrictions, outlining specific activities that are permitted and those that are prohibited across the city.

The Delhi administration has rolled out the second phase of its GRAP (General Restrictions and Prohibition) framework, commonly referred to as GRAP 2, to curb non‑essential activities amid rising concerns. Under the new order, essential services such as healthcare, food supply chains, public transport for essential workers, and critical infrastructure maintenance are allowed to operate without interruption. Conversely, the directive bars gatherings larger than ten people, non‑essential commercial operations, and recreational travel that is not tied to work or health emergencies.

Authorities have also specified that construction work may continue only for projects deemed critical, while entertainment venues, gyms, and shopping malls must remain closed unless they provide essential goods. Enforcement will be carried out by the Delhi Police and municipal officials, who have been instructed to issue notices and fines for violations.

The government has urged citizens to cooperate with the restrictions to ensure public safety and to avoid a resurgence of health or environmental issues. Regular updates will be communicated through official channels as the situation evolves.
