Delhi Traffic Alert: Commuters to Expect Disruptions at Multiple Sites, Avoid Non‑essential Travel

The Times of India reported that Delhi traffic police have issued a city‑wide alert about upcoming road disruptions. Motorists are being cautioned that congestion may arise at several key intersections and arterial routes during the next few days.
Officials have not disclosed the exact cause of the disruptions, but they have advised commuters to plan alternate routes and to avoid travelling unless absolutely necessary. The advisory specifically mentions that non‑essential travel should be postponed to ease pressure on the affected corridors.
Travelers are encouraged to stay updated through official traffic bulletins and mobile apps that provide real‑time road conditions. The police have also deployed additional personnel at known bottlenecks to manage traffic flow and ensure safety.
The alert underscores the city's ongoing challenges in handling peak‑hour traffic and the importance of public cooperation during periods of heightened congestion.
