The Delhi government has approved a Rs 128‑crore project to construct a new Delhi Transport Corporation headquarters that will include parking facilities for 200 buses.
The Delhi administration announced plans to erect a new headquarters for the Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC) at an estimated cost of Rs 128 crore. The proposed complex will feature a dedicated parking area designed to accommodate up to 200 buses, aiming to streamline operations and reduce congestion at existing depots.
Location details have not been disclosed, but officials indicated that the facility will incorporate modern amenities for staff and incorporate sustainable design elements. The project is expected to be funded through the state’s capital budget and will be executed by a selected contractor under government supervision.
Construction is slated to begin later this year, with completion targeted within two years. Once operational, the new headquarters is projected to improve fleet management, maintenance efficiency, and passenger service quality across the capital’s public transport network.
