Delhi to Ban Fuel Sales for Vehicles Without Valid PUC Starting Thursday

From Thursday, Delhi fuel stations will refuse petrol or diesel to any vehicle lacking a valid Pollution Under Control certificate, as per a new government order.
The Delhi government has issued an order that, effective from Thursday, all petrol and diesel pumps in the capital will deny fuel to vehicles that do not present a current Pollution Under Control (PUC) certificate.
The directive aims to tighten emission controls and ensure that every motorist complies with national air‑quality standards. Pump attendants are now mandated to check the PUC document before completing any fuel transaction.
