A tech‑savvy Delhi man has built an AI‑driven map that flags neighbourhoods with higher incidences of crimes against women, using publicly available police data.

A resident of Delhi has employed artificial intelligence to analyse crime records and produce a visual map that highlights zones where women face greater safety risks. The project draws on open‑source police data, aggregating reported incidents to generate risk scores for each locality. By feeding these statistics into machine‑learning algorithms, the map automatically updates as new data becomes available. The creator says the tool is intended to help commuters, residents and city planners identify vulnerable areas and allocate resources more effectively. While still in its early rollout, the initiative has attracted attention from safety NGOs and local authorities seeking data‑driven solutions to gender‑based violence.
