Train services on Delhi's Red Line faced significant delays for approximately an hour on Tuesday night due to a signalling issue at Shastri Park metro station. Commuters experienced inconvenience, and stations saw crowded conditions.

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced a disruption in train services on the Red Line late Tuesday night. The issue stemmed from a signalling problem identified at the Shastri Park metro station.

As a result of the technical fault, train movement on the Red Line was significantly slowed, causing delays that lasted for about an hour. Passengers at various stations along the Red Line experienced extended waiting times and crowded platforms.

DMRC confirmed that services on all other metro lines across the city remained unaffected and were operating normally. The update regarding the Red Line disruption was shared via social media around 9:40 PM.
