Delhi police recovered a heroin stash worth ₹12 crore and detained an associate of a known gangster during a raid.
On Thursday, Delhi police conducted a raid at a residential complex in the city, uncovering a heroin cache valued at approximately ₹12 crore.
The seized drugs were packed in sealed containers and were found in a hidden compartment within a storage unit.
An associate of a prominent gangster, identified by the police as a key facilitator in drug trafficking, was taken into custody during the operation.
The Delhi Police Crime Branch spokesperson confirmed the seizure and said the investigation is ongoing to trace the supply chain and identify other involved parties.
