Delhi Police Seek Death Penalty for Murderers of IB Officer Ankit Sharma

Delhi Police have formally demanded the death penalty for Tahir Hussain and all other defendants convicted in the murder of Indian Bureau officer Ankit Sharma.

The request follows the court’s conviction of the accused, who were found guilty of the brutal killing that occurred in Delhi last year.

Police officials said the defendants had “turned into a butcher” in their act of violence, underscoring the severity of the crime.
